Follow Friday! (#7)

So it's that time of the week again!
Follow Friday!

Do you read one book at a time or do you switch back and forth between two or more?

I love reading paperback one at a time. I don't like reading many books at a time because I may get confused and can't really enjoy the book. But I do sometimes read two e-books at a time because I don't really like to read e-books so I usually will easily get bored and switch to another e-books to read.

So this week I've been quite busy and wasn't updating anything, not until today! :D It's friday and tomorrow is saturday! So hope I could manage my blogs by the weekend! Happy Friday everyone! Enjoy the day!

PS anyone wanna exchange blog buttons? You can find mine at the sidebar! Let me know so I could add yours! Loviee~

Drop your links and I'll pick it up later! :D

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins (The Hunger Games #2)

Title: Catching Fire (The Hunger
          Games #2)
Author: Suzanne Collins

Against all odds, Katniss has won the Hunger Games. She and fellow District 12 tribute Peeta Mellark are miraculously still alive. Katniss should be relieved, happy even. After all, she has returned to her family and longtime friend, Gale. Yet nothing is the way Katniss wishes it to be. Gale holds her at an icy distance. Peeta has turned his back on her completely. And there are whispers of a rebellion against the Capitol - a rebellion that Katniss and Peeta may have helped create.
Much to her shock, Katniss has fueled an unrest she's afraid she cannot stop. And what scares her even more is that she's not entirely convinced she should try. As time draws near for Katniss and Peeta to visit the districts on the Capitol's cruel Victory Tour, the stakes are higher than ever. If they can't prove, without a shadow of a doubt, that they are lost in their love for each other, the consequences will be horrifying.
In Catching Fire, the second novel of the Hunger Games trilogy, Suzanne Collins continues the story of Katniss Everdeen, testing her more than ever before... and surprising readers at every turn.
Marshmallow thoughts:~

Whooop! I really love and enjoy this book! It is even better than the first! I never get tired of reading it even though now is already the third time I'm reading it!

The story continues when Katniss and Peeta won the Hunger Games. Really and odd thing to happen since they should only be one victor. They should be happy and rejoice for their winning but they know though the games has ended, a new thing has started. Things they have no idea that they are the one who cause it. President Snow, the maniac and crazy butthead, threatens Katniss and tells her that the crazy berry-suicide attempt will only bring harm and death to her loves one. Desperate on saving the lives of her family, Katniss have to act and convince that she is madly, insanely, and maniacly in love with Peeta.

When I read this book, I am on a turmoil, crying and cursing for all the injustice and heart wrenching moments that really make me want to just jump into the book and kick President Snow's ass myself! But off course, I can't. Katniss Everdeen, my beloved heroine will have to fight this alone. But wait! She's not alone! Without her knowing it, she is actually is just another piece in a game that is being used and her life seems to spiral out of control. Peeta was taken as a prisoner at the Capitol.

This book is even better than the first! The story is fast pace and it will make you sit on the edge of your chair not caring the itch on your leg and only stop to sip the Chocolate with Marshmallows from a straw on the table! Really, it is that amazing!

The Nightmarys by Dan Poblocki

Title: The Nightmarys
Author: Dan Poblocki

Timothy July has been having nightmares. About his brother, who is in a coma after being wounded in Iraq; about his best friend, Stuart, who is behaving like a jerk; about the old biology specimens in jars lining the walls of his classroom; and about Abigail, the new girl who seems to be a magnet for trouble. Or perhaps she is the cause.
Suddenly Timothy’s nightmares are coming true. His brother, his face decaying, approaches Timothy on the street. Stuart ends up in the hospital, terrified that monsters are stalking him. And the specimen jars are tormenting not only Timothy but his teacher as well.
What is the secret in Abigail’s past that is the key to these horrors? And can Timothy figure it out before his nightmares become a deadly reality?
A follow-up to the well-received Stone Child, Dan Poblocki’s second novel will have his readers mesmerized until the last page—and sleeping with the lights on.

Marshmallow thoughts:~

When I read the review I am so excited to read it. The cover is even beautiful which is actually the first thing that make me look at it. But all that is quite misleading. I don't really know where this story is going. The story is not as intriguing like the cover and the title. The summary quite sums it up. There is two middle school student, Timothy and Abigail who suffer weird things. Timothy always have a nightmare about his brother while Abigail are always visited by two girl ghosts who used to bully her back at her old school. Soon they realised they have to work together to  help save each other from the nightmare.

The story have a lot of events that pretty much arrive to the predictable conclusions. The story is quite slow with less action and that is the few things that make me want to drop to sleep. This story is suppose to be mystery and horror but I find it not frightening enough. I can still sleep with the lights off!

I find this story quite slow and flat. It could use some action or kick-off now and then. But maybe this book is suitable for middle graders.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Title: Hunger Games
Author: Suzanne Collins

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.
Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before—and survival, for her, is second nature. Without really meaning to, she becomes a contender. But if she is to win, she will have to start making choices that will weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

Marshmallow thoughts:~

Yay! So I've finished reading this book for the second time. The second read is just as amazing as the first.
The story takes place in the future. A place where it was once America. America has gone due to the natural disasters, famine and war. The country of Panem replaces America. Panem is divided into 12 districts with Capitol as the head power. The Capitol force anyone by the age of 11-18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games. Hunger Games is a game where people kill each other and fight brutally to death. The Hunger Games will be watched with anticipation from the Capitol and grieve from the  Districts. With two tributes from each Districts, they have to fight and kill each other and only one can come out alive.

Out of all odds, Katniss younger sister, Prim has been selected to be one of the tributes for District 12. Katniss volunteers to take her place and soon find herself in the Games. Katniss and another male tribute from District 12, Peeta found themselves facing bigger, faster and stronger opponent-the Careers who have been training for their whole lives for the Games.

This book really got me hooked from the first page. The events is arrange in such a way that when you thought it was like this, it happens like that. I love Katniss for her braveness and she have a mind of her own and are not afraid to say it. She is a true heroine and a real survivor.

Actually, I don't know how to write the review. Do you ever wonder why is it so hard to write a review on a book you love! So I think you should just read the book rather than reading my review! This book is what you called AWESOME. It even earn my five Marshmallows! XD

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer (Twilight#1)

Title: Twilight (Twilight#1)
Author: Stephenie Meyer

Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife-between desire and danger.Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

Marshmallow thoughts:~

Okay I give up! I'm not going to continue reading! Last time I read I was on page 250 something when I put it down and I'm not going to pick it up again. I'm usually not an easy person to give up on books but I guess this book prove to be too much of a bore to me. This book really doesn't live up to my expectations. I only read it after getting persuaded by my friend. I thought this book is going to be good since many people are so into the movie. But when I read the book I really can't understand exactly what people like about this book.

Firstly, it's slo-o-o-o-o-w. Since the first 50 pages I've been waiting for something, just 'something' to happen but guess what? NOTHING happen! From the first page the story tells how Edward are trying to avoid Bella and Bella is finding that very strange. And then begins the 'epic' love story of how Bella always look at Edward direction and quickly looking away again and again and again while Edward just coolly look at her direction without even betting his eyelashes. 'Epic' indeed.

Secondly, the story seems to be droning on and on and on. Nothing interesting happens aside from the occasional 'Bella accidents' which I found very irritating. And the rest is explain here..allow me to quote you Joe! (Goodreads)

Save your time: here's the entirety of Twilight in 20 dialogue snippets & a wiggedy-wack intermission.
First 200 pages: "I like you, Edward!"
"You shouldn't! I'm dangerous!"
"I like you, Edward!"
"But I'm dangerous!"
Next 50 pages: "I'm a vampire!"
"I like you, Edward!"
"But I'm a vampire! I'm dangerous!"
"I like you, Edward!"
Next 100 pages: "I like you, Edward!"
"You smell good, Bella. I'm dangerous!"
"I like you, Edward!"
"Damn, you smell good."
"I like you, Edward!"
"Also, I glow in sunlight."
Next 50 pages: A. VAMPIRE. BASEBALL. GAME.
(I wish I was kidding)
Last 100 pages:
"Help me, Edward! I'm being chased!"
"I'll save you!"
"Help me, Edward! I'm scared!"
"I'll save you!"
"Oh, Edward!"
"You smell good."

Yep! True story! I know when you read the dialogue it may have been funny but when you read the book it's going to annoy you so much that you want to jump into the book and just wring the life out of them!
That is exactly what I felt! I know maybe I'm not doing justice to this book for not finishing it but really I can't even force myself to open it! So I search at the internet for reasons why I should read the book when I come across Joe's review (up there) then I finally give up and don't bother to read it at all.

Ironically when I first read the very first page of the book where Stephenie said thanks to her sister for helping her if not she would never finish the book bla..bla..bla.. made me think, usually people who can't finish the book means that they have no idea left on what to write. Is that probably the case of this? Well, god knows but for sure I'm not interested in this series. Bye-bye Bella.

So it's time of the week again!

Blame my friend who persuade me to read the book!

The heat of the Hunger Games is burning the marshmallows!

Okay the Hunger Games is now just 8 days away and there nothing else I'd rather be doing than talking about the Hunger Games!

So I stumbled upon this video on 100 things to do before Hunger Games and there's a lot I have to do.

No.96 Find out who Trexler Hoverhound is.
-I searched the internet but there's not much answer out there. I figured maybe Trexler is a guy from District somewhere that plays a role in this movie maybe?

No.98 Keep Your Hair in A Braid Until March
-Oh man I'm going to braid my hair when going to watch it.

100. Start stocking up on Kleenex.
-Absolutely! I am sure I'm going to cry trough some parts of the movies.

I also found this:~

Isn't it beautiful? I'm sooo gonna do this. To see how it's done go here!

Characters:~

Alexander Ludwig as Cato.
Just as how I always imagined him to be! But he is more handsome here....

Woody Harrelson as Haymitch

Haymitch is a drunk, annoying and sometimes funny old man. I never thought he would turn out to be quite different in the movie. He look more sane and sobered and he have nice hair... Not really how he imagined him to be.

Seneca Crane!
Seneca Crane! Woots! Love the beard! I just hope there'll be guy who is willing to sport this beard at the premier!

While I'm browsing around for more Hunger Games thingy I also found something that makes me really wanna knock my head on the keyboard. I've been watching the hunger games trailer over and over and over again and I never realised this:~

You guys ever noticed it before?! EPIC!

OOhhh~~ 8 days more~

The Hunger Games
I will be watching.

Stumbled Giveaway~

It all begins with a stupid question:

Are you a Global Vagabond?

No, but 18-year-old Bria Sandoval wants to be. In a quest for independence, her neglected art, and no-strings-attached hookups, she signs up for a guided tour of Central America—the wrong one. Middle-aged tourists with fanny packs are hardly the key to self-rediscovery. When Bria meets Rowan, devoted backpacker and dive instructor, and his outspokenly humanitarian sister Starling, she seizes the chance to ditch her group and join them off the beaten path.
Bria's a good girl trying to go bad. Rowan's a bad boy trying to stay good. As they travel across a panorama of Mayan villages, remote Belizean islands, and hostels plagued with jungle beasties, they discover what they've got in common: both seek to leave behind the old versions of themselves. And the secret to escaping the past, Rowan’s found, is to keep moving forward.
But Bria comes to realize she can't run forever, no matter what Rowan says. If she ever wants the courage to fall for someone worthwhile, she has to start looking back.
Kirsten Hubbard lends her artistry to this ultimate backpacker novel, weaving her drawings into the text. Her career as a travel writer and her experiences as a real-life vagabond backpacking Central America are deeply seeded in this inspiring story.

PROJECT TELL TAYLOR Giveaway: Help @MichelleMadow tell @TaylorSwift13 about Remembrance!

From Michelle Madow :~

WHAT IS PROJECT TELL TAYLOR?

My debut novel Remembrance was inspired by Taylor Swift's "Love Story" music video. I talked about it in a blog entry a few months ago, discussing how Remembrance was inspired by Taylor Swift's "Love Story" music video. I even wrote a letter to Taylor Swift and sent it to her, along with a signed book!

It's been a few months now, and I have yet to hear back from Taylor that she received the letter and book. I really want to tell Taylor about how inspiring she and her music have been to me, but since Taylor Swift is an international superstar, she’s a little hard to reach. This is where YOUR help comes into play! With the help of 76 awesome book bloggers, I am giving away the biggest prize pack I've offered yet, and the ways to enter to win are by telling Taylor Swift about Remembrance.

The Goal: Get Taylor Swift to Tweet about Remembrance!

{(Dicussion Post)} The Hunger Games Read-A-Thon - The Tributes

Okay so I went to Smitten Over Books  and I found this discussion post and I decided to join in as it's about my most favourite book! So let's get on with it.

1. Imagine one day waking up and finding yourself in Panem. What district would you be in and why? To give you an idea, here’s the list of the 12 districts and their designated jobs.

District 1: Luxury
District 2: Masonry
District 3: Technology
District 4: Fishing
District 5: Power
District 6: Transportation
District 7: Lumber
District 8: Textiles
District 9: Grain
District 10: Livestock
District 11: Agriculture
District 12: Mining

I think maybe I would be in District 4. I don't really know, or like fishing but I guess I could survive and the idea of sea and water always entertain me. I know I would never can be at District 7 as forests are not really one of my favourite things.

2. The Reaping Day was one of the dreaded days by District 12. If you were picked that day as one of the tributes, what would be your initial reaction?

I've always been known by my friends that I am quite a drama-queen. But I'm not really sure about my reaction though as I am also someone who have a 'delayed reaction'. So maybe when my name was picked, I would have that 'delayed reaction' again and after I realised about my fate, my drama-queen part will take over and god knows what I will do.

3. You are a tribute and your mentor is planning the best strategy for you to win. What do you think will be your best selling attribute and/or skill?

I don't really know about that. I only know that I love to read. I don't think I have a hidden talent or anything. But who knows I have read enough books to know some surviving skills that could help me. Yeah, I think I am a fast learner so maybe I could survive on that. Just hope I would.

4. You were not picked but your sister/father/mother was, would you sacrifice yourself for them a la Katniss or would you keep your ground a la Peeta’s brothers?

It depends. You know what, I think I would. Because though I always quarrel with my sisters and I am also quite a rebelling daughter, but I love them. I know my father always know what to do and he have a higher chance to survive but thinking about his age and my mother, I would volunteer as a tribute.

5. Time for the first impression segment. What is the first thing that came into mind when you think of :

Katniss Everdeen =  serious, brave
Peeta Mellark = soft-hearted , manipulator
Gale Hawthorne = handsome! , thoughtful , nice companion
Cinna = lovely , understanding , sweet thoughtful man
Haymitch Abernathy = old and drunk and funny
Effie Trinket = sweet, thoughtful, emotional
Primrose Everdeen = cute, gentle
Caesar Flickerman = funny, emotional, thoughtful
Rue = dependable, trustable

6. Look up. Who is the character that leaps out to you the most?  Why?

I think it would be Cinna. Because he is a loyal friend and he is a very sweet man to be around. I love his design on Katniss clothes and he is always there to be with Katniss. He is also always an understanding person and when I first read about him he is such a warm and welcoming that I can't help falling for him.

7. Do you think Peeta ever thought of winning The Hunger Games even if it means killing Katniss in the process? Why or why not?

I think he did because no matter whoever it is that someone must have that wild thoughts that suddenly come and makes you think. But I know Peeta would never thought about it in deep. Since the first book I already have that sneaky suspicion that Peeta actually like Katniss.

8. (Refer to p. 40)  Fill in the blanks: The Peacekeepers are back too soon and Gale asks for more time, but they’re taking him away and I start to panic. “Don’t let them starve!” I cry out, clinging to his hand.

“I won’t! You know I won’t! Katniss, remember I ______” he say, and they yank us apart and slam the door and I’ll never know what it was he wanted me to remember.

...love you...The first time I read that part I already thought about it. I know it's not really what Gale would probably say as he is quite a mysterious person and I don't think he will say that too obviously. But who knows? Maybe out of frustration and he was running out of time he just yell that.

9. Most memorable/favorite scene in Part I “The Tribute”?

I think it would be when all the tributes are on the chariots being watch by the audience. I like the feeling of success when the audience gasped looking at the tributes from District 12. I know what they are expecting- another pair of losers. But not this time!

10. I know it’s too early to say, but if there was something you want to know more about or you would want to be more elaborated, what would it be and why?

I would love to know some things from Peeta's point of view. Like how he felt like seeing Katniss trying to protect his life and what his feelings are when he try to protect Katniss out of love but Katniss thought all that  was just a publicity. I wish to know more about that.

Marshmallow Thoughts:~

Evil Star is the second book in The Gatekeepers series. In the first book Matthew Freeman manage to find and close the Raven's Gate and prevented the Old Ones from entering the world. Matthew hopes he could led a normal life now, but no such luck as another gate is now on the game and he have to find the gate and close it while trying to stay alive. A kid beggar named Pedro found Matthew and he always stay and try to help Matthew even with the language barrier. While trying to avoid from being kidnapped and caught by the police, Matt and Pedro went to a journey to help Matt find the gate. Along the way, they found out that Pedro is one of the five and they are able to talk to each other in dreams.

On their journey they encounter kidnapping, gun battles, terrifying helicopter rides, the evil 'big headed' Salamanda(which I found him very scary) and my most favourite- the high altitude jungle treks. It is probably one of my most favourite places in the fictional world. What and where it is, is for you to find out! ;D

Probably my most favourite character in this book is Richard Cole. He is a journalist and also a guardian for Matthew. Though he is not one of the five, he receive a sacrificial knife. I'm starting to like his character. He's really cool and it's good to have something 'quite normal' to be there. I hope he won't die, because if anything, I'm sure the villains will kill him first. I know Matt will need him so hang on Richard! Don't you dare die!

Overall I'm really falling in love with this series. The story are fast pace and you will enjoy it from the first page till the end! Recommended to people who like fantasy or science fiction!

Yeay! I found this website where there is so many e-books available for downloads and its absolutely free! I've downloaded about more than 10 books already! Why oh why I didn't found the site earlier?!? So here are some (only some!) that I've download:~

Title: Divergent
Author: Veronica Roth

In a future Chicago, 16-year-old Beatrice Prior must choose among five predetermined factions to define her identity for the rest of her life, a decision made more difficult when she discovers that she is an anomaly who does not fit into any one group, and that the society she lives in is not perfect after all.

Title: Before I Fall
Author: Lauren Oliver

What if you only had one day to live? What would you do? Who would you kiss? And how far would you go to save your own life?
Samantha Kingston has it all: looks, popularity, the perfect boyfriend. Friday, February 12, should be just another day in her charmed life. Instead, it turns out to be her last.
The catch: Samantha still wakes up the next morning. Living the last day of her life seven times during one miraculous week, she will untangle the mystery surrounding her death--and discover the true value of everything she is in danger of losing.

Title: Never Let Me Go
Author: Kazuo Ishiguro

From the acclaimed author of The Remains of the Day and When We Were Orphans, a moving new novel that subtly reimagines our world and time in a haunting story of friendship and love.
As a child, Kathy–now thirty-one years old–lived at Hailsham, a private school in the scenic English countryside where the children were sheltered from the outside world, brought up to believe that they were special and that their well-being was crucial not only for themselves but for the society they would eventually enter. Kathy had long ago put this idyllic past behind her, but when two of her Hailsham friends come back into her life, she stops resisting the pull of memory.
And so, as her friendship with Ruth is rekindled, and as the feelings that long ago fueled her adolescent crush on Tommy begin to deepen into love, Kathy recalls their years at Hailsham. She describes happy scenes of boys and girls growing up together, unperturbed–even comforted–by their isolation. But she describes other scenes as well: of discord and misunderstanding that hint at a dark secret behind Hailsham’s nurturing facade. With the dawning clarity of hindsight, the three friends are compelled to face the truth about their childhood–and about their lives now.
A tale of deceptive simplicity, Never Let Me Go slowly reveals an extraordinary emotional depth and resonance–and takes its place among Kazuo Ishiguro’s finest work.

Title: The Maze Runner
Author: James Dashner

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he’s not alone. When the lift’s doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade—a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.
Just like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they’ve closed tight. And every 30 days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.
Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up—the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers.
Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind.

Follow Friday (#5)

Yeay now its time for the Follow Friday!

Hey look I use the new button now! I really like the old button but since everyone is using this and I don't want to get out of sync so maybe I should just use this.

So the question today is:~

Have you ever looked at book’s cover and thought, This is going to horrible? But, was instead pleasantly surprised? Show us the cover and tell us about the book.

When I first saw this book at the library I instantly dislike the cover. With neon colours and the font are quite small to my liking I quickly put down this book. But then since I can't find any other books left to borrow I reluctantly pick this book and give it a chance. And glad that I did because  it turns out to be quite good! And I really enjoy reading it. Go here to read my review!

So Happy Friday! Tomorrow's Saturday! xx

So drop your links and I'll pick it up later!

Gone by Michael Grant

Title: Gone (Gone#1)
Author: Michael Grant

In the blink of an eye. Everyone disappears. GONE.

Except for the young. Teens. Middle schoolers. Toddlers. But not one single adult. No teachers, no cops, no doctors, no parents. Just as suddenly, there are no phones, no internet, no television. No way to get help. And no way to figure out what's happened.Hunger threatens. Bullies rule. A sinister creature lurks. Animals are mutating. And the teens themselves are changing, developing new talents—unimaginable, dangerous, deadly powers—that grow stronger by the day. It's a terrifying new world. Sides are being chosen, a fight is shaping up. Townies against rich kids. Bullies against the weak. Powerful against powerless. And time is running out: On your birthday, you disappear just like everyone else...
Marshmallow thoughts:~
Welcome to the FAYZ, short for Fallout Alley Youth Zone.

Have you ever thought what will happen to the world when kids lives with no adults? When I first heard of this book I already know it would give the answer to the question.
In a blink of an eye(some don't even got the chance to blink!!) every adults over 15 in Perdido Beach vanished.Without any *poof* or dramatic swirl, they just smile and the next they are gone. The kids are trying to figure out what happen and how to survive and they quickly appointed Sam as their leader. Sam on the other hand are as confused himself while trying to cope with the possibilities that he just killed a girl.
Strange mutations to animals starts happening such as seagulls with talons, winged snakes and talking coyotes. The kids too, seems to be developing some strange powers. And with kids continue to dissapear Sam find out that he is running out of time as he too, will soon turn 15.

The kids from The Coatees Academy come to Perdido Beach and one of the guys, Caine, basically takes over. He injects hope and confidence to the kids and he soon set up a community and rules. But kids are dying and it's no surprise as the sheriff himself and Captain Orc's little gang of bullies keep hitting people up when they don't follow the rules. And one of the rules clearly stated to not use one's power, to prevent anyone from becoming a rival to Caine.

The Daltons Academy blazers.
I absolutely love this book! I love the occasional references from Harry Potter and the Agent Oranges (which I never heard of before until I read this book!). I love how the characters feelings and emotions are real and you can relate to them. I like Albert and how he runs the McDonalds to keep everyone fed. And Lana who is stranded in the woods with her dogs after a serious crash that left her critically injured and later she found out about her power. For some reason I always imagine the kids from the Coatees Academy to wear uniforms like the Dalton Academy in Glee.
The story is fast pace and it keeps me hooked from the beginning to the last of the page! This book earned five of five of the Marshmallow Rates! I'm going to read the next sequel soon! Yipppeee! Recommended for everyone!

Marshmallow Break~

Hey guys! If you guys noticed ( I hope you do! XD) that I haven't been active in blogging like before and it's hard when you have to wrestle with 3 other people to use a computer. And it's even harder when you got lotsof homework and projects to do. I can't help feeling like this is a punishment I got for two years of leisure and playing all day long.

So since there'll be big exam coming (which is tomorrow!) I won't get to blog anymore cuz there's gonna be a lot of preparations and studying need to be done. Really this year is gonna be harder and I won't get to read many books too which I really prefer doing! I've pledged to myself that I won't online, not until the exam is over! So good luck to me and see you guys a week later!

Adios!

AHHH! I can't wait anymore!

OMG I just can't wait for it anymore! I've been watching the trailer over and over again on youtube! I love the books and I'm so glad that it's made into a movie! I know it's gonna be a huge hit! It's gonna be awesome! Don't know what I'm talking about? I'm talking about The Hunger Games!

I have read the first two books but unfortunately I can't find the third book at the school library so I will have to find the third book, Mockingjay at the bookstore. But I won't be able to for the time being as there's exam and my mom won't allow me to get near books unless it's educational. Peh~
I keep repeating this song many times because I can't get over it! It's so sad! I keep picturing the scene on my head! The scene where Rue died and Katniss sing her a song. I think this song will be perfect for that scene!

I especially love the line "Don't you dare look out of the window, Darling everythin's on fire".
It really reminds me of the Hunger Games.

Don't tell me you haven't read the book? Cuz if you are then you are missing a lot! Read the book first before watching the movie! OMG I'm getting antsy here waiting  for the release of this movie which would not be until March 23,2012. If you are going to watch it remember to bring tissue!

May the Odds are Ever in your Favour...

The Games will Begin in 3...2...1

Follow Friday! (#4)

Yeay it's now time for the
*drum roll*
Follow Friday!

So the question today is:-

What book would you love to see made into a movie or television show and do you have actors/actresses in mind to play the main characters?

I would love Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah to be turn into a movie because I think it's a really good book!
About the actors or actresses I don't really have anyone in mind though.

There's some books that I've always wanted to be turn into a movie and already has like The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins!! OMG It's gonna be epic!
So happy Friday tomorrow's Saturday!

About Me

My Photo

It all happen, one day, when the sky is blue and the birds is perched high up the tree chirping their sweet shrill melody.
I was walking down the street humming a random song when I saw it....
The perfect, beautiful cover of a painting..

The bell hung on the doorknob give a tingling sound as I open the door. I walked toward the painting, mesmerized by the beauty of it. I stare at the beautiful portrait of a girl sitting solemnly on a chair staring out at the emptiness. She's in a room. A room filled with books. A stack of books piled dangerously high  near the shelf. The painting is so vivid and looked so real that I reached out my hand to touch the painting, ignoring the sign post shouting to not touch the painting.

As I reach out my hand to the painting, I could see the girl smiling. Or was it my imagination?
Suddenly, I feel like I'm being pushed and I could see the colour of the painting start to swirl and swirl and...

I can feel myself groan and my eyes flutter open. I try to sit while holding up my dizzy head in my hand.
I look around and was startled when I heard the voice behind me.
"You can't go anywhere. You have to stay here with me.Don't worry. I have a chair somewhere here." said the girl who was sitting on a chair solemnly....

Da da da da~ I'm thinking about writing about myself but I get carried on and didn't realise I haven't even talk about myself!
