Series: Book One of Under the Never Sky
Since she'd been on the outside, she'd survived an Aether storm, she'd had a knife held to her throat, and she'd seen men murdered. This was worse.
Exiled from her home, the enclosed city of Reverie, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland - known as The Death Shop - are slim. If the cannibals don't get her, the violent, electrified energy storms will. She's been taught that the very air she breathes can kill her. Then Aria meets an Outsider named Perry. He's wild - a savage - and her only hope of staying alive.
A hunter for his tribe in a merciless landscape, Perry views Aria as sheltered and fragile - everything he would expect from a Dweller. But he needs Aria's help too; she alone holds the key to his redemption. Opposites in nearly every way, Aria and Perry must accept each other to survive. Their unlikely alliance forges a bond that will determine the fate of all who live under the never sky.
Marshmallow thoughts:~
Woohooo~ This book is good! I was actually expecting another of those futuristic war torn country and was bracing myself for the worse. But guess what? This book is awesome! There is no war-torn country in sight at all in this book. There is however the land on earth that is said to be not safe to live at anymore. I love this book for that. It brings us a fresh new story. Aria was living at the safe and close compound of Reverie until she was banished to the land of earth which is also known as the Death Shop. The people at Reverie are all protected from any diseases and harm and everything else so it was quite a shock for Aria when she founds out that she is bleeding. A monthly bleeding that is as told by Perry. Oh my, what a shame. If that happens to me I would bury myself in the sand.
I love Perry (His name really reminds me of Perry the Platypus in Phineas and Ferb.) He may not be the ideal choice of a prince but he is a close one. What matters is he cares for Aria. After a long journey together, you can expect that sooner or later they will found love between them. I am not really a fan of romances and love story but the story between them two is not force and sexual like other books. They take time to know each other and they do care for each other. They are just so sweet. I can't help but imagine Perry to look a little like some ape by the descriptions of Aria. The long nails and all that is quite creepy but it must only be my overactive imagination. Perry seem to be wild and not afraid to murder people but you can't help but fall in love with him when he shows his sweeter and gentler side.
Aria is so lovable! She is a determined character and would not let anyone push her. She might be a little prejudiced at the beginning but you can't really blame her because all her life she has been living in a sheltered life away from all dangers. Anyway, she grows to be more open minded and I love to see how much she matures throughout the story.
This book has a lot of interesting characters and the author never fails to introduced each of them to us and make us love them so much! My favourite would be Roar who is Perry's cousin. He is full of laughter and just so charming and always knows how to put people at ease.
Under the Never Sky is really a wonderful book to be read and readers will find themselves engaged to the very end. Oh my, the ending is even more wonderful! I really love the ending. I really can't wait to read the next book. I really want to know what will happen to them after this.

Really want to read this book! Great Review.
